When asked randomly what they want to be when they grow up, the girls each answered a surprising response. Lydia said that she wants to be a worker at Subway, and Ava said that she wants to be a waitor at a pizza place. My response was, "Whatever you want, sweetie," knowing that it will probably change 100 more times between now and the time that they do in fact get a job.
What does this say about us? We sure do love our pizza and Subway!
I wonder what the next career phase will be?

If their responses don't change, you might have to have the same talk about earning potential that I'm going to have to have with my kids :-)
ReplyDeleteRight now TJ usually responds to that question with spiderman or batman.
Alli wants to be an artist- not bad- but not easy to make a living on. Don't want her to be a starving artist :-)
